Shoes, a hoodie and small accessories
Imagine these items are ready at the Oopbuy warehouse. Keeping the shoe boxes, adding protection or sending the shoes separately changes the parcel you need to price.
For one combined parcel, get an estimate for that box. For two parcels, estimate both and add the amounts. Use the same destination and currency throughout so a lower-looking figure isn't just half the shipment or a different currency.
What changes the estimate?
Oopbuy's Shipping Estimation asks for a country, product type, weight and dimensions. A list of item prices won't answer those questions. Even the items' combined weight can miss the carton and protective packing.
- Country and product type
Use the country where this parcel will be delivered and describe what it contains. A line suitable for clothes may have different rules for batteries, liquids or other restricted goods. Read the product limits before treating its price as an option for your parcel.
- Grams and centimetres
Enter weight in grams and the packed length, width and height in centimetres. If you're working from an approximate box size, keep those figures so you can compare them with the warehouse measurements later. The weight of the shoes alone leaves out their boxes and the hoodie you're sending with them.
- Actual or volumetric weight
Actual weight is what the packed parcel weighs on a scale. Volumetric weight is calculated from its dimensions under a shipping line's rules. A light, puffy jacket can take up considerable space, so a weight-only estimate may miss the reason for a higher charge. Read the chosen line's billing rule; use its stated divisor if you calculate volumetric weight yourself.
Compare eligible shipping lines
Compare eligible lines using the same packed measurements. Look at size and weight limits, excluded products, the delivery service and what the displayed amount includes. A cheaper line that cannot take your items isn't a usable quote. Any delivery estimate also belongs to that line and destination, not every Oopbuy parcel.

What have you already paid?
Oopbuy separates buying the goods and domestic delivery from paying for international shipping. Keep the earlier order payment in your overall budget even though you don't pay it again when the parcel leaves.

Use the item amount and seller-to-warehouse delivery amount shown on the Oopbuy order. If part of the order was cancelled or refunded, use what you actually paid after that adjustment. A haul total copied from a shopping post may leave domestic delivery out.

Add the international shipping amount and any packing or optional services you select. Read the final payment breakdown to see which charges are already included. If an offer applies, use the discount shown for your parcel; the headline value of a coupon bundle is not money taken off every shipment.
Before paying for the parcel
Put your original estimate beside the measured parcel: did its weight, dimensions, product type, packing or shipping line change? A larger carton or added protection can explain a difference even when you haven't bought another item.
- The estimate uses the packed weight and all three dimensions, including boxes and protection.
- The selected line accepts the contents and reaches your destination.
- If you're splitting the haul, the budget includes both parcels in the same currency.
- Selected extras, any applied discount and charges already included are clear in the payment breakdown.
Say you’re sending shoes and a hoodie: keeping the shoe boxes could change the dimensions without changing the items. Update that size in the estimate first. If the same measurements and line still produce an unexplained difference, ask Oopbuy about the parcel amount and include the original figures and the amount now shown.
