Read the option, not just the thumbnail
Oopbuy accepts product names and seller links, including links from Taobao, Tmall and 1688. For a name search, add a model, material or style rather than a broad label such as “shoes.” When a product opens, match it against the seller's listing before choosing an option. A marketplace name identifies where the listing came from; it doesn't certify the seller or the item.
- Seller and listing
- Match the shop name, product title and seller URL. A shared spreadsheet image can outlive the original listing, and another shop may use the same picture.
- Colour and version
- Read the text beside the selected option. A black shoe in the main photo doesn't mean the black version is selected, or that every option includes the same parts.
- Size
- Use that listing's size chart and measurement units. The label you normally wear is a starting point, not proof that this seller's cut will fit.
- Quantity and bundle
- Look for a minimum order and whether the price is for one piece, a pair or a set. On a multi-option listing, the lowest displayed price may belong to a different bundle.
What do you have to start with?
A product photo
Oopbuy has an image-search entry. Treat any matches as products to inspect, not confirmation of the original seller. Compare the shape, labels and included pieces, then match the seller and option just as you would with a link. The search on this guide accepts text or a seller link; it isn't an image-upload tool.
An item number
A number copied from a sheet or post may refer to that author's own list rather than a marketplace product. Keep the platform or seller name with it. If searching the number leads to a different item, ask for the seller URL instead of assuming the first result is a match.
A link that changed or stopped working
A shop homepage or collection link may not identify a single product. For a shortened link, look for the underlying marketplace listing. If that listing is gone, try the seller's shop and the product name from the original post. If you find a replacement listing, recheck its options and price; don't carry over a size or bundle selection from the old one. A post's date can explain why an earlier price, stock note or link no longer fits.
If a post tells you to install an Oopbuy app to open the item, start from Oopbuy's own app entry. A spreadsheet author's download link or app-like icon doesn't establish who published the app.
Small differences that change the order

Buying through Oopbuy or forwarding your own purchase?
With a buying-agent order, you select the seller item for Oopbuy to purchase. Forwarding is a different arrangement: you buy from the seller yourself and send the goods to a warehouse. A seller listing, an Oopbuy purchase order and an international parcel are three separate things.
If a link won't import, ask Oopbuy whether a manual or DIY buying request is available for that item. For forwarding, confirm that your account supports it and get the current receiving instructions before paying the seller.
Before you place the order
- You can identify the seller and the exact listing, not only a product image.
- The selected colour, size, version and quantity match what you want.
- You know which pieces the price includes and whether a minimum quantity applies.
- Any unanswered measurement or option question has gone to the seller or Oopbuy before purchase.
